When animating one image to another (for instance when animation the opacity) it looks like the second image shifts a couple of pixels at the end of the animation. To fix this, just set the line-height of the element to the height of the element. When the element is 100px high, set the line-height to 100px.

Are you thinking of creating / adjusting your website for the iPhone browser? Then you need to read the developer guidelines posted by Apple.
The iPhone uses the finger (in some cases even two fingers) as input device. This works differently than the mouse. The new events are:
- Double tap: Zoom in and center a block of content
- Touch and hold: Display an information bubble
- Drag: Move the viewport or pan
- Flick: Scroll up or down (depending on the direction of the finger movement)
- Pinch open: Zoom in
- Pinch close: Zoom out
Besides the event model there are a lot of things we see as default behavior, but with the introduction of the iPhone, these behaviors have changed. Read the iPhone developer website for all information and start building.

With the release of the iPhone a new user interface concept was launched. The first video’s are coming online with explanations of the new UI. A few findings:
- typing in normal mode can be difficult because of the small keys (the keyboard in landscape mode is much easier to use)
- auto-correct does not work in all edit modes
- zooming into images works pretty neat
- the music library “scrolls like butter”
- can you actually make a phonecall with the iPhone?

Update: David Letterman has even more news… Apple is releasing the Apple iPhone Nano in a few months.
